Holes is a movie or a book, it's about a 14 year old his family is

cursed because of his No good dirty rotten pig stealing great

great grandfather he got his name because he stole a pig from

an old lady called “Madam Zeroni” her curse on him was bad

luck for all eternity even on his children and children's children

and so on. One day Stanley the 14 year old was in the wrong

place at the wrong time, he was having a bad day at school

and he missed the bus home he was running, then suddenly

a pair of shoes came falling from the sky they were famous

shoes but he didn’t know so he picked them up and started

walking home again then the police came and the next day

they took him to court his chooses were either jail or Camp

Green lake. Stanley had never been camping before so he

chose Camp Green lake. It took 9 hours to get to camp in

the bus he was handcuffed.They had to dig holes 5ft deep

and 5ft wide.He met a boy called Hector Zeroni they ran

away from camp in the middle of nowhere and climbed a

mountain and found salvation.

My favorite Fish in a tree activity is the voxels of a fish in a tree, the reason is that it fits in really well because the title of the story is “Fish in a tree” Fish in a tree is a story about a girl who talks bad about herself because she can’t read well the reason she can’t read well because she has dyslexia. Voxels is a game like minecraft but different, you use blocks and stuff but its not minecraft. The main character is Ally.

My favourite animal is a panda to be honest i'm obsessed with pandas, my favourite color is pastel pink, my best friends are Leo, Ailie, Jessica,Tara, Jordan and kacey, I live in Otaki New Zealand. I am in room 4 Waitohu school. My full name is Lilley Dykstra well some of my name is. My favourite food is potatoes every kind of potatoes. I have 1 sister and 1 brother my sisters name is Shayla and my brothers name is Josh my sister is 12 and my brother is 19 I am 10 in two months. For my birthday I am having a sleepover. My teacher is Mrs Spratt.

The three  brave campers!

There was tree friends. They are campers so they decided to go to the woods and camp. The ledder packed her stuff and so did the others.  In there bags are tent ,food,lots of water,pillows and blankets. Then after they packed they meet up at a cafe. They got coffees then headed off to the forest. The leader wanted to find the perfect  place so they did. Lilley said ‘’This is really cool here’’.Summer the ledder said ‘’A bear look out!’’ Joy passed out from Summer yelling. Lilley said ‘’ HIDE!’’ So they hid in a bush until it was gone. They put up their tents and unpacked there stuff. Then Joy woke up and the bear was licking her face. She screamed for help it got scared and ran off. Joy went and put her tent up and unpacked. Lilley lighted the fire it was getting late so they decided to roast marshmallows. Then they went to bed. In the morning Summer bring some fruit for a fruit salad to share with the others. She put them in separate bowls. They woke up to a surprise with Summer putting marshmallows in the fruit salad. They ate it all up then went home.

The storm is like a dangerous snake It’s mean and ferocious

It slithers and slides on the grass Green like grass

Hisses through the jungle, slithering on sticks

Mean like a bully

Swallows the windmills

The jungle is a mess with lots of broken trees

Zealandia Trip

Zealandia

Yesterday room 12 and room 6 went to Zelandia. I am in room 6. I went in the van with Mr Leason and a couple of other kids. Wen we got there we lined up and then sat on a mat and ate lunch. Then we did a touch screen activity. Then we got into groups of 12 with a staff to show us around so we don’t get lost or kidnaped.There wore a couple of other adults there as well. Then we saw a couple of birds and I took photos we saw insects to. It was a long walk it hurt my legs and feet. Then wen we got back we watched a mini movie of what it was in the olden days it was sad i cried. Then we went back to the main place and the kids that wore on the van lined up first. And then the bus people Lined up. It is in wellington a long drive back it was cool because i got to sit in the front.The bus was way behind us we wore at school before them. It was so cold i had to put on my rain jacket. Then we sat in the hall and waited for are family. My sister came and got me my mum was waiting in the car then i went home.
