My beast is called "Whiskers" it sounds harmless but it really isn't. It has whiskers that are so long you can't even see the ending, if you go near its nest of eggs it will kill you, if you look at its eye..well it only has one eye it will kill you, it will choke you with its long whiskers its whiskers are purple because The whiskers is poisoned. They used to be extincted but that what they thought and a wizard got arrested because he kept one in his basement.

In the long weekend me,my sister, my mum and my dad went and got our Christmas presents we got bikes. My sister got a gray and blue bike and I got a purple and blue bike.

 The next day we built them but mine was first built, after we built both my mum let us bike to countdown to get potatoes for dinner.She waited at the park. Me and my sister biked home but my mum walked so we both went back. When my mum came Shayla my sister biked back while I was biking slowly next to my mum, on the corner then was a power pole that I biked into on accident my mum was worried it was scratched but luckily it wasn't.

 When we got home my dad came and helped us put them in the batch we covered them in a sheet so spiders and cobwebs didn't get on them, we get them on Christmas. 

That's what I did in the long weekend!

The long weekend

In the long weekend, I'm probably gonna watch movies with my mum and my sister. my mum said that shes gonna make little microwave meals for my brother because the last time she made him one, he loved it.

Other than watching movies I think we'll go for some walks, we've been planing on going to the dog park, our dogs names are Leela, Caesars and Baddy, Leela is Caesars mum and Baddy is Caesars grandpa.  

We don't normally bake but its long weekend so we might bake a ginger loaf, chocolate chip cookies or just a normal cake, we might visit my brother Josh and bring him his microwave meals.

I'm really looking ford to the weekend.

Drawing is amazing!!

Drawing is amazing because whatever mood you're feeling you can draw it.

 Whenever I'm bored I just draw some animals or all sorts of things. Drawing is fun because you get better every time even if it's bad it can still look good, or get some ideas from google.

You can even draw your favorite movie stars or anime characters and so much more! Drawing is unique because you can draw real life or stick people or anime or other styles.

You can make patterns, people animals and not real things like monsters, unicorns and even make you're own creature, you can draw also houses towers so and so.

That's why I think drawing is amazing! 

The Fancy Dress!

Last night I went to the fancy dress with my Oma, Opa, Nana, mum and dad, my sister

and brother didn’t come though. I was dressed up as a white angel and my partner Kasey

was dressed up as a black angel. 



My class danced second to last, our dance was called Strip the willow, after every class

dance, every class had a small little thing of ice cream, to be honest I thought it would

be smaller. After I ate all my ice cream I went home. My family all missed out doing

the Macarena because my mum wanted to go home.  She was tired and she had worked

all day so she wanted to go home, so we did.



When we were walking to the car I was wearing heels and my feet started to hurt so

I took my heels off. My mum said I wasn't allowed to walk in bare feet so my dad bent

down and he was gonna give me a piggyback ride so I jumped on his back, and he fell

over so he stood up and bent down more and I rided on his back all the way to all car.

When we went home we went straight to bed.

The holidays

What I did in the holidays

Yesterday me, mum, dad and my sister Shayla went to the zoo. My mum really wanted to go because there was a new baby cabibara, the zoo was in Wellington we got lunch on the way. when we got there I ran right up to the door but I had to wait for my parents to go inside. Me my mum and my sister went to the bathroom while my dad payed, he was waiting outside for us I ran over to the otters, at first I didn't see them but then they ran through a hole in the fence, there were four of them, I think they were playing follow the leader because they were running round in a circle.

Then we went to the kiwi but on the way we saw some spider monkeys, In the kiwi habitat it was really dark and scary I thought I was gonna trip over. We saw the kiwi running somewhere I think it was scared because of all the people, there was this family that wouldn't move out the way for other people so we just left. I don't where we went after the kiwi but I think it was a pretty bird and some more spider monkeys. Later on we found our self at the cheaters my sister told me to crawl around on the floor near the window, so I started crawling around once I got close to the cheater laying near the window it kinda jumped at me so I hid behind my dad I got back down crawling on the floor and nearly every time I went close it opened its mouth at me this lady kept telling people I felt embarrassed so I just stopped for a while.

Again I don't know where we went after but at the giraffes my sister was feeding them and she and my mum got to touch it, my dad was somewhere else but he showed up, later on we went searching for the cababara we eventually  found them but we didn't see the baby, we thought it was taken away or with the cababara in the hay. Once we looked at all the animals we left but we were looking at the shop at the main place of the zoo. There was cute teddys.

Room 4 is doing a folk dance for the Fancy dress. To do the folk dance you have two lines normally its a line
of boys and a line of girls but we get to choose if its a boy or a girl partner in room 4.
The couple at the end of the line starts, they skip toward each other and link they right arms

together and skip around in a circle. Then one of them goes to the line and links they left arms together then
they skip around in a circle and then the partner then goes and skips around in a circle with there partner. Then
one of them goes to the next person in line and then does the same thing on and on.The other partner then starts
doing the same on the other line and when the other partner

is done on that line they both start going down the lines at the same time then when then done with the
first person they go back together and skip around in a circle then go to the next person.

Holes is a movie or a book, it's about a 14 year old his family is

cursed because of his No good dirty rotten pig stealing great

great grandfather he got his name because he stole a pig from

an old lady called “Madam Zeroni” her curse on him was bad

luck for all eternity even on his children and children's children

and so on. One day Stanley the 14 year old was in the wrong

place at the wrong time, he was having a bad day at school

and he missed the bus home he was running, then suddenly

a pair of shoes came falling from the sky they were famous

shoes but he didn’t know so he picked them up and started

walking home again then the police came and the next day

they took him to court his chooses were either jail or Camp

Green lake. Stanley had never been camping before so he

chose Camp Green lake. It took 9 hours to get to camp in

the bus he was handcuffed.They had to dig holes 5ft deep

and 5ft wide.He met a boy called Hector Zeroni they ran

away from camp in the middle of nowhere and climbed a

mountain and found salvation.

My favorite Fish in a tree activity is the voxels of a fish in a tree, the reason is that it fits in really well because the title of the story is “Fish in a tree” Fish in a tree is a story about a girl who talks bad about herself because she can’t read well the reason she can’t read well because she has dyslexia. Voxels is a game like minecraft but different, you use blocks and stuff but its not minecraft. The main character is Ally.

I am in room 4 Waitohu school. My full name is Lilley Dykstra well some of my name is. My favourite food is potatoes every kind of potatoes. I have 1 sister and 1 brother my sisters name is Shayla and my brothers name is Josh my sister is 12 and my brother is 19 I am 10 in two months. For my birthday I am having a sleepover. My teacher is Mrs Spratt.
